1.Pre sewing introduction 1 weeks $65 Adult Classes Thursdays 1.15-3.15 and 5.30-7.30pm Introduction to sewing macine- Includes, machine parts, set up, threading, maintenance and trouble shooting .Needle gauges and uses, changing needles, needle testing. Stitch variations and appropriate fabrics and uses. Make samples to begin your own reference book. Learn the terminology of fabrics, and machining.
2. Intro to Sewing – Step Two from Pre Sewing –. Let’s start to make a simple skirt and see what your machine can create. 2 weeks $60 Adult Classes Thursdays 1.15-3.15 and 5.30-7.30pm
3.Sewing basics-beginners 2 weeks $60 Adult Classes Thursdays 1.15-3.15 and 5.30-7.30pm Work on small projects like purses to learn and apply a number of useful applications, fabric terms and types of fabrics such as seam use, zippers, button holes, casings, elastic and drawstrings, hemming. fabric terms and types of fabrics. Filling up that reference book
4.Garment construction- 5 weeks $ 150 Adult Classes Thursdays 1.15-3.15 and 5.30-7.30pm Participants will make a simple pattern for an a-line skirt, to fit. Learn to read and understand a pattern package pattern markings and instructions layout, In, pattern terms and diagrams. Learn to make a shift dress. Learn to take body meausurements correctly and relate to pattern pieces. Time willing maybe even some stretch leggings without an over locker.

Learn to make super cute boy leg undies, sexy ribbon tie panties, camisoles and comfortable bras using little more than an old t-shirt, elastic, ribbon, and your sewing machine. , even suitable for busty babes. You will learn how to use the lingerie stitch on your sewing machine, how to insert elastic, as well as making some great fitting patterns for all sizes. Bring a t-shirt and matching thread.

Bring something that’s been stashed away and unworn, or a recent find that doesn’t work. Have a think about any clothes that really suit you. Together we will personalize them for you |

- All classes are subject to interest...if we haven’t the numbers, unfortunately it becomes unsustainable for us. To ensure yourself a place in your favourite class, get a group of friends together!
